Dennis-Bushnell Wedding

Married: August 28, 1940
Bride: Faith Bushnell
Groom: Rudyard Dennis

Wedding Announcement

The First English church of Minneapolis was beautifully decorated on the evening of August 28 for the nuptials of Mr. Rudyard Dennis and Miss Faith Bushnell. A large number of friends were present to witness the ceremony. A solemnity rested upon the congregation as the sacredness of the marriage was stressed. At the close of the service the bride and groom knelt in consecration while prayer was offered, and a stanza of a consecration hymn was sung by Mrs. Ruth Dennis, sister-in-law of the groom. Following the service in the church there was a reception at the home of W. R. Dennis, the father of the groom. Many and useful were the gifts that were given to the young couple. The prayers of the church follow them as they set up another Christian home in which God will be the head of the house. Their new home will be in Minneapolis, at 3021 First Avenue South.
