Wedding – Ann Marie Whitsett, daughter of Elder and Mrs. Robert M. Whitsett, was united in marriage with Charles Michael Holman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Holman, of Davenport, Iowa on Sunday, December 24, in the Minnetonka Seventh-day Adventist Church at Wayzata, Minnesota. Mrs. Rex Turner of Long Beach, California served as matron of honor and Robert Whitsett, Jr., brother of the bride, as best man. The bridesmaids included Loelle Anderson of Minneapolis and Jackie Holman, a cousin of the groom from West Union, Iowa. Ushers were Lawrence Keymer and Stan Ekrem of Minneapolis and Rex Turner of Long Beach, California. Kevin Pettis, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Pettis of Long Lake, Minnesota served as the Bible-bearer and three-year-old Julie Olson, a young cousin of the bride and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Olson of Rapid City, South Dakota was the flower girl. Elder Whitsett officiated at the marriage of his daughter assisted by his nephew, Charles Keymer of Bakersfield, California. Music was furnished by Elder Keymer, Dr. and Mrs. Adrian R. M. Lauritzen, and Ray Neergaard. The newly married couple are both medical students at Loma Linda University – Anne in the study of medicine and Charles in the study of dentistry. They will reside at 710 Hermosa Vista, Monterey Park, California.
