Before an improvised altar banked with palms, ferns, and basket arrangements of gladioli, snapdragons, and achillea, Evelyn Sorensen became the bride of Adrian R. M. Lauritzen. The ceremony was performed by the writer at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Sorensen, at Pelican Rapids, on Sunday, August 2. Mr. Lauritzen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lauritzen of Maple Plain, Minnesota. The bride's sister, Mae Sorensen, was maid of honor, and Merlyn Johnson of Minneapolis, was bridesmaid. The flower girl, Frances Larson, was a niece of the bride. The groom's attendants were E. D. Sorensen, brother of the bride, and J. O. Iversen.
