Wedding Announcement

Myrna Joyce Andersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Helmer Andersen of Maple Plain, Minnesota, and Vernon Frederick Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Parker of Springfield, Minnesota, were united in marriage in the Maple Plain Seventh-day Adventist Church. Harriet Andersen, Patricia Ann James, and Ruth Ann Farnes were attendants to the bride. Wesley Anderson, Wilfred Cox, Jr., and Randall Andersen were the groom's attendants. Paulette Anderson was the flower girl and LeRoy Andersen was Bible boy. Harriet Andersen and Clifford Burgeson rendered beautiful vocal selections as Diane Johnson accompanied them. Diane also played the traditional processional and recessional. Following the ceremony a reception was given in the Lutheran church parlors with 300 relatives and friends in attendance. Vernon left a month after the wedding to enter the United States Army. May the Lord be a constant companion, guide, and friend in this new home.
