Wedding Announcement

Maureen Estelle Kiley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin W. Kiley, of St. Paul, and James Leland Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Russell of Verndale, were united in marriage on Sunday afternoon, August 17, at the First Seventh-day Adventist church, Ashland at Mackubin. E. W. Wolfe of Ooltewah, Tennessee, performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Lou Anne Kiley was her sister's maid of honor; Dorothy and Addie Russell, sisters of the groom, were the bridesmaids; Judy Jo Fernald was the flower girl; Dennis James Kiley, brother of the bride, carried a Bible which was given to the bride on the occasion of her capping as a student nurse last December; and Dorla Roberts and Jeanne Rogers lit the candles. Charles Russell, Jr., brother of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Kenneth Dedeker and Irvin Berg. The organist was Lester Rogers and the parents of the bride were the vocalists. Following the ceremony a reception was held on the lawn at the home of the bride's parents. After a motor trip to the North Shore, Mr. Russell and his bride will make their home in Lincoln, Nebraska. As this new Christian home is established, we pray that their faith will grow "as a grain of mustard seed."
